Slightly crazed this spring over the 'Midi' look. I don't know about you but this is a fashion craze that almost every woman is into these days. They can be so flattering and comfortable and you can wear them almost anywhere social.
Just don't attempt theme parks in them.

"The midi skirt was a popular length in the 1940s, a fashion decade known for its elegance and grace."

The fashion world is all about the midi skirt/dress
Today's modern fashions are entirely different to what we're used to, due to re-inventing styles and creating new trends based on a era we weren't around in. Some designers are exploring the 'longer length' skirts once more but with a more subtle approach.

This look has got to be one of my favourites for this Spring. Origienating from the Bohemian (Boho)/Hippie genre. It's a traditional fit, flattering and consists of such beautiful colours. It's a must have for me this year.

The eligeable fashion of the Midi' skirt is versatile beyond contentment. It's a fashion statement of elegance, hippie, and can be worn buy those who are less comfortable with wearing items that are figure hugging. (within reason)

The patterns set for this summer 2013 are absolutely amazing and I know for a fact I will be taking them into great consideration. They're beautiful, creative and bring a shed load of heritage from a variety of cultures from the Greek, African, West Indian and Afro Caribbean cultures.. please visit the link above.

The End...

So with such an amazing collection, I can now conclude that I will be researching into these patterns and the history behind them as soon as possible. I would like the views and opinions of others also. I know that a lot of people have also gone a little d&g mad over the last few months so I hope you've enjoyed this short post. There will be more to come :)! Take a look at the website links posted above and see whats in store for both Autumn and Winter 2013.
